hey guys first time ever on this site...looks pretty cool....ive got a question for ya..i just traded in my chevy 1500 a couple months ago and bought a 2004 f-150 fx4...ive already tinted the windows and put dual flowmasters on it now im wondering about tires....i want bfg.atkos......my truck has 255-70-17 tires on it now... can i go to a 285?my tire guy say its to big and will rub....thanks

You can easily fit a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) BFG on your truck with room to spare. In fact a lot of member's here have installed 315/70-17's (35x12.50) by installing a 2.5 inch leveling kit and using the OEM 17x7.5 inch wheels.
