I hate to add to the wheel and tire questions, but I need some information so that I can make a wheel decision. I have an '04 SCrew with a 2" leveling kit. I have acquired a set of Motto MT700 wheels and would like to put 33x12.5 Nitto Terra Grapplers on them. The question is whether or not this setup will rub. The wheels are 20x10 (6" backset). I would assume that it would be the width that would make it rub, if anything. I have read through some of the other posts on this site and it seems that my other choice of wheels (Motometal 951's) in the 9.0 width do NOT rub. Any help from the Ford community on this dilemma would be greatly appreciated. The sooner I figure this one out, the sooner I can have the new wheels and tires put on and can post some pics!

There is a member here with MT wheels with the same specs and he reports no rubbing with a 2.5 inch leveling kit.

 

I have the 18" 951's mounted of 33x13.5 pro comps X A/T's and had to trim just a little of the inner fender flare. At 3/4 turn they would rub just a bit, but now everything is A okay.

I feel sure the 12.5 Grapplers will work fine. Be sure to take some pics...

 

There haven't been too many replies on the message boards yet, but from what I have read and some of the people that I have talked to, I am almost ready to pull the trigger and buy the tires and mount them. I will definitely post some pics when they are on!
