20" rim

What size tires are you guys using on a 20" x8.5" rim on a truck that's still sitting stock? I bought a set of rims that size, but I'm debating on what size to put on them. Any suggestions or opinions?

I'd go with a 285/50-20 to 305/50-20 tire.

With a 20' wheel, I'm assuming you are doing the street look with a 2wd truck (you didn't say). With street type tires and your truck having the stock suspension, the sky is pretty much the limit...there is all kinds of room to spare. Just be careful you don't throw the speedo off too much if you care about that.

If you are doing the offroad look with offroad tires, I can't help you there as I'm sure you can find many tires too big to work.

With rims that width, you have a choice of 285/50 or 275/55. Obviously the 285s are wider and shorter (more of a street truck look). I went with the 275/55 for a look the fills the wheel-well a bit more. You really can't go wrong with either size. Good luck.
