Need some tire opinions

Alright well heres the deal. Ive got an '03 f-150 2wd 4.2l w/5speed. It is in desperate need of some new tires. Im stuck on 3 different tires: Michelin ltx m/s, bfgoodrich all-terrain tko, and bridgestone dueler at revo. They are all priced in relatively the same price range. I do some highway driving and mostly driving around campus at the college i go to, with occasional road trips. Id like to do a little offroading nothing serious as its a 2wd but none the less id like a tire that can perform well offroad. I personally like the look of the tko the most but ive heard the ltx m/s and the revo perform better. They are all great tires but i cant seem to pick one. Anyone who has had these tires and could offer an opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I love my BFG AT KO's and wouldn't hesitate to buy another set. I'd go with them or the Bridgestones.

How do your tires handle in wet and slick conditions?

Fine. I have no complaints at all with wet or dry traction.

I have the Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO in 285/70/17, love it so far, works great in everything except for snow (none yet) and I have taken them through some of the worst Alaska can throw in the "summer", the TA KOs are good tires but a friend of mine just switched after driving my truck.

I vote BFG, but I hear that the new Revo's are sweet... BFG does have a better size selection...your choice...can't go wrong either way.

The LTX M/S is gonna be great on the highway, but I'm not real sure what it'll do off road.... great tire, just iffy on the off highway scene...

Good luck..._motes

Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo are the best tires I have ever had on a pickup and I have practically tried them all. Have taken them to hunting areas where 4-wheel drive and chains were the rule (I was the only one without chains). For me, they worked great in the snow on these roads. Have had mine for two years now and you can't even tell they have worn any. When I bought them the only had a P rating in the 17", now they have one with the LT rating. Can't go wrong with these tires.

Best of luck on your choice. Mert

I had the Michelin LTX M/S on my 98 Explorer I just sold. I put about 40k miles on them. They rode great on the highway. I used them a little off road; light mud and sand and they performed better than I thought they would, but this was an AWD vehicle, not 2WD or true 4WD. I never rotated or balanced these tires while I had them. Great tire.

You might consider the Michelin LTX A/T. I had them on my 97 Explorer 4x4 before the 98. They took me more places than my buddy's Bronco with mud tires did. Of course I drive better than him though. I put about 15k miles on them and they looked brand new before that truck was totaled.
