I have a '04 Supercrew with the 2.5" Daystar coil spacers in the front and I found this interesting tire size at Discount Tire in a BF Goodrich AT/KO. They are about 34" tall and 12" wide. Will these rub control arms etc. if I put them on stock 18x7.5 rims....thanks guys

 

That is the first I've heard of that size. I heard they were coming out with a 325/65-18 (35x13.00) but it's not available yet. But to answer your question, yes a 305/65-18 would fit your truck if it's a 4x4. Not sure if it would fit a 4x2 with an Autospring lift.

 

Finally someone else can corroborate my claim from another thread a couple days back.

I thought I had seen this size in my 4WP catalog, but lost it and wasn't 100% sure.

Seems like a pretty darn good all-around size for 18" wheels and the spacer kit installed. O.D. is actually 33.6" if you're into splitting hairs.

 

Yeah, I've got that catalog/magazine. Apparantly 4 Wheel Parts listed the new BFG sizes well before they were to be released. I know someone here contacted BFG and was advised the new sizes would not be available for a while. 4 Wheel Parts has since stopped advertising the new sizes.

 

The size I [B]really[B] wanted for my 20" wheels was the 285/65/R20 but they're not only unavailable at this time, they'll be horribly expensive when they do come out.

Another option was the Goodyear Silent Armor 305/60/R20, but again, cost was an issue.

I'm very happy with the ones I did get. $1000 out the door.

 

Someone a while back posted that 4Wheel Parts had quoted them the new BFG in a 285/65/20 at $315 per, but they would not be available until fall.

Discount priced these at $312 per tire...and that's with no mounting, balancing, or warranty! I am still definitely considering them...I just wanted to be dang sure they'd fit the stock rims and that they wouldn't rub since I'd be special ordering them. I'd have to pay a re-stocking fee if they didn't work. My truck is a 4x4 with the spacer kit on the front...the other tire size I am looking at is a 285/65/18. Which do you guys think would look better?

 

305 all the way. There should be little trouble with fitment according to what I've read here.

I'd haggle with Discount and get some other "price matching/beating" quotes, too. I saved $90 on my tires by doing this. Budget, Belle are a couple that come to mind.
