OK, the brakes are done...EBC "Green Stuff" 6000 series pads front and rear, Brembo rotors front and rear, and a complete fluid flush with Ford brake fluid...which BTW, is some of the best on the market with one of the highest boiling points I have ever seen!!

The hardest part of the whole job was having to go back to the store and get a 36mm socket for the front rotors.

Just finished the job a little while ago so will have to report back later on the dust, but preliminary drive was VERY good. The brakes are solid and true. A definatel improvement in that and feel. Is there any increase in stopping power?? Maybe not, since there was no increase in rotor dia or clamping power, but it feels like there was a slight improvement. I'm sure pad compounds can contribute a little to stopping power. Initial feel, I say yes there was. Overall, it was worth it...especially if it fixes the dust problem!!!!

 

Why did you not go withj the Power Slot rotors and Hawk ? I need to do the same to my truck.

 

I went with Brembo because I understand their products are suppose to be the one of the best on the market. I have heard a lot of good things about the EBC so I decided to go that way and so far I really like them. I ordered them off www.f150store.com.
