Nitto's

I was looking around and it helped me alittle bit but not to much. I have the stock Goodyear Wranger AT/S still on my truck but I'm looking to upgrade my tires. The size I have now is 275/65 R18. If I went with Nitto Terra Grapplers would this size fit without a problem, 285/60 R18. What is really the difference in the size of these tires. I know the numbers are alittle different but in what way does that change the tire.

the 285 60's are going to be a little wider but a little shorter than the stock tires.

Stock : 32.07 x 10.82
285/60: 31.46 x 11.22

the first number is the width of the tire in mm and the second number is the aspect ratio (a % of the first number to determine sidewall height of tire) i.e. 285 x .60 = 171...

Here's a couple sites I use to compute tire sizes
