Question Help!!!

I have looked in the search but can't find anything, has anyone had a sound, and I know that sounds are hard to diagnose without hearing it. But I have a sound that resembles two pieces of metal snapping. It is coming from the passenger side of my 99 F150 2x4. I have checked the breaks, they are fine, did find that the hardware was bad and replaced that. Did not see anything that looked like it was worn, am wondering if maybe it is the wheel bearings. It does not do it all the time, does seem to do it right after or shortly after a turn to the left. Definately hearing it on the right side. Any ideas?? Thanks for all the help in advance. Dan

Check your bushings in the front end. If one snapped, it'll cause a similar noise... Also, it wouldn't hurt to repack your bearings...

Kinda odd my truck is making that same exact noise every now and then too. It's a clunk from passenger side and I notice it every now and then when I'm stopping at a slow speed like in my driveway. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Mine was having the same problem too. I heard it when turning and moving slowly. I jacked up my front and shook the front wheels hard and I found out that my passenger inner tie-rod end was giving. I have it replaced and have an alignment done.

Alright I'll check my swaybar. Since everything else is new up front.
