How will these fit?

I've been looking for rims + tires for a while now for my 98 F 150 and I hope i decided on some finally, the truck has a full leaf in the rear + the torsion bars wound up and i was wondering if anyone would know how either of these rim + tire combos would work, a 17 x 10 rim with a 4.5 backspace or a 17 x 9 rim with a 4.5 backspace, tires would be either a 285 or 295/70/17 nitto grappler AT or Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ i do not want to go past a 33 x 12 tire and I am thinking to add a 4" suspension lift in the future will these fit with or rub and how far would they stick out?

Both will fit. If you go with a 10 inch wide wheel you will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. I have some pics of my Screw at stock height in my gallary with 16x10's (with 4.5 inches of backspacing) and 285/75-16's. The edge of the tire/wheel is just about even with the edge of the fenders.

I have Westins. I love them. They tuck up and in so they look right, but not so tight that they can't be used for a step. Also, a 12 inch wide tire (295mm) would only stick out about 1/4 inch farther than my 11.5 inch wide (285mm) tires.
