I have a 2003 reg cab 2 whd F150 & Im needing some new tires. The dealer said that the only size that I could use is a 255/70/R16. Is this true? Id like to go a little taller if I could without any modifications. If anyone knows waht size I can go please let me know. Im also looking for some oppinons on different brands . Thanks

 

You received some misinformation. I've seen stock 4x2's fit 285/75-16's (barely). I wouldn't go that big unless you plan on lifting the truck. A 265/75-16 looks pretty good on a stock 4x2.
