33" tires

I have a 2004 FX4 Screw and Im looking for some 33" tires. I want them to fit on my 18" stock wheels. All the tires I look at for a 18" wheel are 325's. They are way to wide for my stock wheels. Can anyone help? Will I be better off going to a 17" wheel and then get a 295/70R17 or 285/70R17?

BFG makes the AT KO in a 285/65-18 size that is basically a 33x11.50-18. Or, you could go down to a 17 inch wheel.

I have a 2.5" levelling kit and 33X12.50R17 and they fit no problem, no rub nothing. I'm sure if you wanted to go with a 325 you could no problem, but what I did(and what all my co-workers that have now lifted their trucks have done) is go to a tire shop and test fit some tires and see what works...you're gonna end up dropping in the neighborhood of $1000 so they should accomodate you. Good luck...and go with the 325s

I like the 285/70R17 and 295/70R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. They are a sweet tire and will fill my wheel well out nicely. I will just have to get new wheels. Nitto makes a Terra Grappler for an 18" wheel, but its only a 31" tire.
Thanks for all the help!

Nitto and Toyo also make a 325/60-18 (33x13.00), but it's too wide for the OEM 7.5 inch wide wheels.
