Took my '98 flareside by America's tire and told them I am going to do a 2/4 drop and then want to go 285/50 on their 20x10 wheels. They said it should go. Anyone have this combo now?

yup...itll be a tight fit and you'll have some wheel rub when you turn....I would go with a lower profile....maybe some 265/40/20 and have better handling and still look nice

I need something to fill those monstrous wheel wells! I saw a Lightning near my house with what looked like non-stock 20's and big tires. I am going to go over and talk to the guy and get the specs on his combo. Maybe I can get away with just doing a 2/2 drop instead of the 2/4. Because his truck looked good. That's assuming he's just got the stock Lightning 2/2 drop.

I am using the HD Goodyear 275/45R20s on my 2002 Supercew after a 2/4 drop without any problems.

I checked out your Supercrew. Real nice looking truck!
I am debating maybe just doing a 2/2 drop like the Lightnings use.
To go 4'' in the back I have to go with hangers and don't know if its worth the hassle. Also by doing a 2/2 I assume I would be safe from needing shims as the pinion angle would remian the same?
