Overtighting is not the only factor, uneven torque is the other.

Then I have alll new brakes and shouldn't have to worry. We'll see though.
I have had my rotors replaced on my 04 f150 screw 4 times now. With every oil change i get a rotor change too. This time they also changed out the calapers. I just got my truck back today. Has anyone else had this problem.

I had that problem on my 04 FX4. Two different sets of rotors replaced under warranty, and then they finally replaced the entire front brake assembly. I do not know what exactly is involved in the replacement, but ever since it was done there has been no shimmy, no squeking, and the brakes actually seem to react when I press the pedal. You might want to look in to having this done! Hopefully you are still under warranty!
