"Just Brakes" in Leander, TX
"
Midas can be just as bad. I had an 82 F150 that I took to Midas and everytime I took it in, something else was wrong. Even after all new pads, shoes, rotors and drums. I quit taking it there after me and the manager got into it about what was left to change on the brake system.
Had a tech at Econo lube tell me my Explorer with 7000 miles was a quart low of fluid. Told him if it's a quart low, then I had better get it over to Ford. Never went back to that place either.
All I can say is if you find a good mech to work on your vehicles, stick with them. You get what you pay for .
Just Brakes" has a REALLY bad reputation in Atlanta
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They use the "$99.00" brake job offer to lure you IN the door, just to try to charge you $300-500.00 or more before you get OUT the door.
Seems that almost anyone who goes there, no matter what they are driving, now matter how many miles it has on the vehicle - they all seem to need the same parts replaced to make each vehicle "safe".
Someone just did the investigative/hidden camera bit on TV recently.
