Ford Motorsport speedo recalibrator

Hey guys, do you think it's worth it to buy one of the speedo recalibrators? I think they run about $99 and change your speedo for tire sizes and gear ratios. I'm planning a bigger size tire and want the speedo corrected, do the dealerships or someone do this and how much? Just any thaughts.

Do you have a link? I may be interested in one. That's a lot cheaper than a Superchips or Hypertech programmer.

Well, no link but try fordracingparts.com and find either #M-9731-T01 or M-9731-T99. The T01 has a square connector whereas the T99 has a D shaped connector. I haven't gone to this site to actually see, I'm looking at a catalog right now from Ford Motorsport. This thing says it corrects speedo, odometer, ABS, cruise control systems and other calibration errors related to any changes in axle ratio or tire size. Check it out.

Oh ya, forgot to mention it's at seanhylandmotorsport.com as well, maybe you'll get a price there, but any Motorsport dealer will have em.
