Wrangler MT/S opinions?

Gotta thread started about Nitto's and Toyo's but want opinions on these as well. Jeep Rubicons come with these and I was wondering how they are on the streets? Do they last for a while and traction in snow or rain? Any thaughts on street practicality would be appreciated.

I've never owned a set but the ones on the trucks at work seem to wear down pretty fast with on-road use. I also overheard a tire shop guy telling a potential customer one time that if he did mostly on-road driving, he wouldn't recommend them. Like I said though, I've never owned a set to have any personal experience with the wear.

Well any mud tire is going to wear relatively quickly when compared to a less aggressive treaded tire. That said, among the mud terrains, I would say the MT/R is one of the longer lasting tires. Dont expect 60k out of them. I think 30-40k would be reasonable to expect.

That's not really bad for a mud tire, are they pretty loud? How bout winter traction, probably not near as good as the AT/S eh?
