More backspacing contemplations...Help?

Is 6" of backspacing too much. My truck is an 05 150 supercrew 4x4.

I'm looking at the Eagle 114
the 18x9.5 wheel has a +22 offset with 6" of backspacing. I would put the 325/60 18 Nittos on that wheel.

The other option is to go with the 20" wheel which has +20mm offset with 5.475 backspacing. But the wheel is only 8.5 wide! Can I put 305/55 20 Nittos on that wheel?

Is 6" going to put it too far into the wheelwell and end up rubbing or damaging something?

Which is the better choice?
18x9.5 with 325/60 6" backspacing +22mm offset
OR
20x8.5 with 305/55 5.475 backspacing +20mm offset

???????????????

I never thought shopping for wheels would be this agonizing. I'm kind of enjoying it, but jeez.

No, 6 inches of backspacing is not too much. The OEM 7.5 inch wide wheels have 5.5 inches of backspacing. Either wheel should work fine.
