I am selling my oem 17 in wheels off my 01 screw I am getting the helo max6 wheels but am unsure of size. I was going to swap out the bfg's on the oem wheels there 315 but he wants the whole package. Goody for me new tires but Im thinking of going with the 16x10 helo instead of the 17x9. This all has to do with price there just cheaper. So my ? is what size tire on a 16x10 helo and not have rubbing issues remember I have 315 70 17 on now with no rubbing. Thanks for any help.

 

I'd go with a 305/70-16 (33x12.50) on the 16x10's. You will have to trim a little off the front bumper's lower plastic valance. You could also go with a 285/75-16 (33x11.50) but you will still have to trim just a little.

 

Thanks Wandell I wasnt sure how much the 10 in vs. the 9 in would make I am only going to go with the 305 the 315 is just to big and killing my excelaration and gas mileage. i found a picture of a similar setup that looks great. Thanks again Wandell I can always count on you the tire and rim guru
