I took my truck in to get the tires balanced and now my truck vibrates like crazy. I had them move the weight to the inside of the rim and they are saying that i might have to have them on the outside.

Any of u guyas run into this? I really dont want those nasty looking weights on the outside of my rims.

I have a 2005 lariat with the stock 18s and stock goodyears.

 

Find someone with a Hunter 9700 Road Force balancer and have them use stick on weight placed inside the wheel.

 

Had that problem. I bought new tires, had em balanced to the inside, and after a year or so they started vibrating. Re balance did nothing, so I took it to an alignment shop thinking it was something else. He knew exactly that they were out of balance, balanced them and sent me off. On the way home, it threw off a couple and vibrated like the old ladies *****. Their machine was on the fritz and did this over multiple visits. I gave up and they were all ?????? because they were awesome to deal with, I let it go and went to a Goodyear dealer. After the balance, drove home 2 miles away and weights were gone. I knew to count them before I left, so after they accused me of lying, rebalanced and sure enough same thing. I went to the owner and said this will be the last ime I come in, after 3-4 visits within a week. Those ****** hammered them on so hard, now it's oxidizing. I posted a post about this in wheels and tires before about that problem,
