largest tires possible

ok... after about 2 months of searching i findly found a new truck. i purchased a 2000 f150 extended cab short bed. I love it!!! it is my first fullsize pickup! any way... I have been doin some research and am in somewhat a dilemma..... i want to lift my truck 1-2" but no one makes a leveling kit for my truck. i want to tighten the torsion bars and add an add-a-leaf in the rear. will this look funny?? i mean will the front sit higher than the rear.. or rear sit higher than the front? my truck sit level as it is now so... also what would the biggest set of tires i could put on that setup.. and on my stock setup...stock rims too..?? thanks for the input!

If your truck sits level, it's torsion bars are probably already cranked up. If you want more lift, I'd start looking at body lifts. For tires, I'd suggest 285/75-16's or 285/70-17's. Both are 33x11.50's.

The price you saw is for one set of Gap Guards (four pieces). Body lifts are not that hard to install on F-150's.

Body lifts arent hard to install, just take a lot of time... I think I will go with a suspension lift eventually..
