Grinding brakes????

Grinding brakes????

my brakes are makeing a grinding nose when I stop it is coming from the rear and hear is what I don't understand I just had the back brakes replace and that did not stop it they also turn the rotors in the back too but it is still grinding when I stop they work great I have plenty of pedal and the truck stops great but they just won't stop grinding any help in this manny would be greatly apperiacted

Do you have the rear disk brakes?

My 02 did something similar after replacing the rear rotors and pads. It turned out to be the emergency brake pads, which have a drum inside the rotor.

to resolve this issue i gently applied the emergency brake and drove about 1/4 mile @ 15 mph. There is probably a better way to resolve this but it worked for me!

Yes they are disc brakes i will try that and see if it helps
