4 wheel disc brakes milage

Just got a 03 Reg cab 4x4 with 4 wheel discs, I know guys complain about the chevys not lasting very long, what kind of milage can I expect out of the rear pads before I should be keepin a closer eye on them, I don't do alot of city driving, about 50/50 city/hwy.

i changed my rear pads at 60K. i just put in new pads. on the front i change them about every 25K. this is with hard city driving and towing a 5000# trailer on weekend during the summer.

The rears are capable of lasting a long time without extreme, harsch conditions. Mine didn't need changing when I replaced them at 92000.

Of course this depends a lot on your driving style, i.e. how heavy your feet are. Your 50% highway driving should help your brake life some. I am at 104,000 on completely original brakes f&r. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if I get 120,000+ out of the fronts, 150,000+ out of the rears.
