2004 2 wd with 2.5 level kit

I have a 2004 2 wd with 2.5 level kit. Is there anyway I could add different shocks and get another inch or two of lift in the front? I am getting and Add a Leaf for the rear

Shocks will not give you lift unless they have an adjustable collar?

In theory you could keep adding spacers up front until your CV joints broke but thats not the right way.

Well, a 4x2 doesn't have CV joints. But, he's right, you can only go so high with a spacer. If Fabtech or Rancho could make a 6 inch spacer lift and sell it for $200 they would, but there is a lot more invovled to a suspension lift. If you want more lift, inexpensively, get a body lift.

Just did it....

You can get another 2 inches by switching out the front shocks to the ones on the 4x4. Now get this..... the shocks from the 4x4 are only 5/8" taller, so the increase must be due to the sagging of the spring on the 4x2.

You will have the added benefit of a stiffer ride.
