help for the new guy please...

i have about 2000 miles on my reg cab short box f150 and im lookin to change the tires. a place in town is giving me a steal on some 33 12.5 17in coopers. i know they will fit and i like the tread design but i was wondering it the 33s would make a conciderable apperiance diffrence. also will this effect my gas mileage greatly? they are a somewhat aggresive tread equvalent to the bfg a/ts.

summary:
can someone post an 04+ f150 with 33s and stock suspension.

im not looking for anything extreme, its a daily driven truck. i just want an agressive 4x4 look, not the mudding look. will there be a noticable diffrence over stock? im sick of people asking if i have 4 wheel drive. any pics out there?

It going to look aggressive and fill the well! Do you have a 4x4 or 2WD, that will matter? You might have to worry about rubbing! Go to discount tire direct to see what fits your ride!

I would imagine you will lose about .5 - 1mpg going to 33's.

Also remember you will need to adjust your speedometer to accomodate the new tire size.

I have 285/75-16s on my 02 4x4. Not quite 33x12.5 but pretty close. I have no rubbing at all and they doo look very tough.

yes it is a 4x4 and i was planning on getting the speedo recalibrated. i can take a 1mpg hit. thanks for all the help. i still would like to see pics. after trading in my stock tires its only gonna cost me about 350-400 for all four tires mounted and balanced. are there any reasons i shouldnt do this? my dealer said that it would not efect the warantee.
