How much to mount and balance 35" nittos?

I just called tire kingdom, cause no one else is open today, and they want $30 per tire just to mount and balance my 35's on an 18" rim.

This seems very high because they guy at 4wheelparts told me I should get it done before I go down there to get my lift installed because he said they charge a lot if you didn't buy the tires from them. When I asked how much he said $20 per tire.

Unfortunately Sunday is my only day off, but maybe tommorow i'll try to call Big10tires and see what they'll do it for.

Doesn't $30 per tire seem high just for mounting and balancing?
How much did you all pay?

try wal-mart. I was there a few nights ago and noticed they did specialty mounting but I don't remember how much it was.

I just recently had my 305/70/17's mounted and balanced on my truck for $42 something for all 4.

A buddy of mine had 4 35's mounted on 17" rims last year and he said it was $48 something because he had new valve stems put in.

The place we always go to is Cenex.

Where do they do it for $10 per wheel?
I also want the weights that go inside the rim, not the ones that clip to the outside.

All of the shops in Cairo charge that, but I don't think you want to drive to south Georgia. Plus, we only have 6 places that mount and balance tires and only one of those has a Hunter 9700 Road Force machine. I guess it's one of those things that vary from region to region.

We only have 2 places in town that do tires other than the stealerships. One is the Cenex that I mentioned which is $10 per tire. The other is a goodyear dealer and they charge $12 a tire.

Big10 wanted $21 per tire, So I called Discount tire, the guy said they couldn't do it because the tires are too big, whatever...
So I called 4WP again and this time they told me it would be $51 for the set and they will use the sticky weights.. not the clip on ones.
I'm gonna call 'em again one more time to double check but what is with all these places trying to rip people off?
$30 per tire just to mount and balance is pretty high!
Oh well... it's only paper
