The Right 17's....

So im told by everyone, only certain 17 inch rims will fit on my 05 4x4 and i need some 17's for when i raise my truck cause i dont got the money for 18 inch tires and 18 inch rims. So could someone find me some 17's that will fit my truck right....preferably 5 inch backspacing.

I'm planning the same mod, the rims that I am looking at are the American Racing "Fuel" which are 17x8 with a +25mm offset and 5.5 inch backspace. The online wheel outlets say they are size specific for 04 thru 06 Fords and are supposed to clear the brake calipers. Anyone have any information or pictures of these type of wheels mounted ?

Despite much debate, the Helo Maxx 6's make a 17x8 that will fit our trucks. I bought a set for my '04 and have absolutely no regrets
