Continentals

Has anyone esle had problems with the Continentals on their F-150. I've gone into the dealer ship several times and they won't do a thing for me. They say it is normal wear. I have 9500 miles and i need new tires. I drive dirt roads and paved roads. I have also seen that Ford nolonger puts Continentals on their truck. It is eather BFG's or Goodyears.

Continentals (in my opinion) are excellent tires. Wear on tires isn't going to be the same for everyone because not everyone drives the same. Do you haul or tow anything? That will also have an effect on the wear of the tires. Do you start like a jack rabbit and make last minute tailgate over hood stops? (not that i would know anything about that . Because again, that will have an effect on the tires. The Continentals I sell at work have an 80,000 mile warranty and yes, they will last that long.
As far as tires being put on a vehicle from the manufacturer, it's all about money. What tire manufacturer can give them the best price for what they need.

Have you tried calling Continental's customer service? I deal with them on a seller end but they always try to take care of their customers. What kind of Continentals are they?
