Tonight on the local news: Boy runs truck into school bus full of children after trying to spin tires after taking advice from idiots!
But in all seriousness, if you have a 5 speed, usually you don't have a limited slip, so you will probably only spin one tire. Keep the clutch in, one foot on the brake about how you would in a normal stop, maybe a little less, and then rev up the truck with your toes. Pop the clutch out really fast and it should start spinning. Or just rev up the truck really high without your foot on the brake, and just drop the clutch. Don't try this too much, or you'll blow your clutch. If you're that desperate to spin your tires, go find some gravel or snow and have at it...

i have a 00 f150 extd cab with a v6 and 5spd. i have no problems spinning them on pavement. everything is stock w 3.55 gears. just floor it and pop the clutch. its easy. i would suggest doing it in a parkinglot first, until getting good. then go out on the streets.
you could get on a lil bit of a hill and slowly roll backwards and then rap it to the nuts and dump the clutch, once they start to boil they will go forever. this is extremely hard on everything but it is badass.
