37" Tires...what rims?

I'm thinking of putting 37s on my truck. I have 33s right now with 16x10s...if I went with 37s would I have to get 16x12 rims?

Thanks,
Dan

No, you dont have to.. you can keep 16x10, but i m not sure if theres a avaiable 37" w/ 16"rims.
all i know that theres 37" tires for 17" or 15" rims..

I dont think theres any 37" tires w/ 16"rims...but i can be wrong.

What kind of tires are you thinking about get?

Its also going to depend on how wide the tires are...

I can't think of any 37"s for 16" rims off-hand. That doesnt mean they arent made, but I had to do 17" tires when I went to 37"s. Also, I wouldn't go 16x12 even if they do make that tire size. They will stick out too much and will be just as unsafe as running on a wheel that is too narrow. I have my 37"s on 17x8 rims and they are just fine, I wouldn't go any narrower, but 10" is the widest wheel I'd go with.

I'm sure there's more, but from what I found, Interco makes Boggers and Super Swamper Radials, Mickey Thompson makes Baja Claw Radials, and procomp makes X-terrain and All-terrains.

I believe the **** Cepek Radial FC II may be available in 37x13.50-16. Also, I agree. Stick with 16x10's.
