Question American-Racing 137

I want to get these wheels 17x10 when i lfit my truck around 9 inches with 38's. Will these fit work with my truck, or is the backspacing wrong or what? Or should i get the 17x8 wheels? Rememeber these will be on 38 inch tires probably 15 inch wide tires.

You're gonna have to go with at least a 10 inch wide wheel with a tire that wide. What is the backspacing?

The backspacing is 4.625 so basically 5 inch backspace. Is that ok?

That's a lot closer to 4 1/2 inches than 5 inches. They will work, but they will stick way ouside the wheelwells. Keep in mind that most suspension lifts for your truck will increase the front track width a couple of inches. So those wheels will stick out over 3 1/2 inches farther than your OEM 7.5 inch wheels with 5 1/2 inches of backspacing. It just depends on whether you want or like the look of the wheels sticking way outside the wheelwells.

5.5 to 6 backspace and you would probably have some sticking out due to the width of the wheel but not very much.
