I am interested in new tires and wheels for my 03 F-150 4x2 xlt. I am curious as to what size tire and wheel i could get and still be safe while towing travel trailer and boat. i don't want anything really flashy and wide just a little more sporty than the factory wheels and tires. any suggestions?

 

I bought two Goodyear Fortera Silent Armor and couldnt be happier. Kevlar reinforced sidewalls for no traditional bubble at bottom of tire. I think they look agressive for a street tire. My favorite part is the 80,000 mile warranty. With a prorated gaurantee if they dont last that long!

There are a million options. First, what style did you have in mind? Basically, you have street and off road style wheels. I would decide on that first.

I'd go with a set of 20's or 22's. Maybe something like came on the Harley Edition trucks, 20's with 275/55-20's. You can find pretty good deals on Harley replica wheels.

 

check the centerline website for a deal on wheels. I got the challengers in 16 inch at a good price. Boat load of tires to choose from.
