how far will a 17x8 wheel with 4 1\8 backspacimg stick out past the fender on a 2005 f-150?

 

sense stock backspacing is 5.5 and stock rim width is 7.5. the outer edge of rim will be 1 7/8 inches further out than the stock rim. this will not necesarily be outside the fender depending on the width of the tire you will be mounting on it. if you were to run the the 285's like I run you would sitck out a little like 3/4 an inch up front. I do believe less in the rear.
