vibration

I have a 99 ford f150 4x4 The front brake pads are worn down and cutting grooves in the discs would this cause the truck to vibrate while taking off from a dead start.thanks

It could cause vibration. How strong is the vibration? Does the vibration feel like on one side or the other, or both sides? I would think the brakes could cause only a slight vibration if the pads or calipers are sticking, or an ABS problem.
