Hey, I just purchased a 2005 F105 XLT and have the stock 17" rims in there. I want to upgrade but not aftermarket, I want an original look with a rugged tire. I want to go with the stock 18" rims ford offers. My problem is do I go with the FX4 rims or the Lariat's? I like the FX4 because I will be sticking an all terrain tire in there but my truck has the two tone paint (Arizona beige) and the Lariat rims have the center cap in the same color.

Any pictures would be great.

I personally like the FX4 wheels. The holes have a dark color inside which gives them a meaner look.

 

The FX4s do look a little more rugged, and are easier to maintain with the brake dust. The Lariat wheels look a little more classy IMO, but the more open design leads to lots of cleaning time!

In the end it's your call as to what you like better. It doesn't matter what we think, it's your truck!
