Offset explanation wanted

Wheels that don't stick out.
Well perhaps I was asking for too technical of an explaination of offset since I only got one response (thanks wandell) and it wasn't really an explanation. Let me make it easier.
Does anyone have an 04 or 05 F150 4x4 with 20" wheels that don't stick out beyond the wheel wells? If so, what is the offset and width of your wheels?
A picture would be awesome but not necessary.

My 22x9.5 inch Eagle 026's have +40mm offset (6.795 inches of backspacing). WIth 305/45-22's, the edge of the tire is just about even with the edge of the fender flares on my Expy. Hope this helps.
