I see from the list that many people are having a hard time getting tires in certian brands. Same problem here. I had to wait forever to get the 295/70-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. And becouse of that I made the decision to get and mount five instead of four. Now if I have a problem I can change out the tire and wheel and not have to wait weeks for a replacement.

I have asked before to no avail, does anyone know if a tire that size will fit under the truck in the spare position? Thought I would ask again before I wasted my time.

Members at FTW say that a 315/70-17 will fit under there so you should be fine.

 

Like Wandell said, it will fit. I have the 315/70-17 under mine, it did take a little creative wedging though...
