Yes, they will fit easily if you have a 4x4. If your truck is a 4x2, they will still fit, but it will be a little closer.

if i get a body lift + 35's will i need to regear or is what I have fine????

btw I do have the 4x4 w/tow package (what the really differs from not having I'm not sure other than an overly expensive hitch)

If you have a 4x4 with a leveling kit, you can fit 35x12.50's using the stock wheels. You may not have to regear if you have the 5.4 engine with 3.73 gears, even though it would be a good idea.

so u are telling me that SAFELY, meaning the tire is not being overly stressed, I can fit 35"x12.5" tires on the stock 7.5" wide wheel?

The tire guys i asked said I'd be crazy and need about a 9" wide wheel.

Is he nuts, or am i miss understanding something?

Yes you can SAFELY run a 315/70-17 on your stock 7.5" wide wheel. I did it for several months before I bought my new wheels. Just play with your tire pressure to get max tire contact. As stated in many other threads running that tire on a 7.5" wide wheel, the wear will be as if you are running too much air pressure and MAY cause a slight bit more wear on the center of the tire.
