Post Cooper STT

Okay, so Im up here in Montana, and Toyo is running a 1-2 month backorder on open country MT's (35x12.5x18 specifically) Now, the tire guy said that Cooper recently came out with the new Discoverer STT (same size, just about the exact same look, sidewalls have a bit more design on em with the coopers) have any of you had experience with the 35's? im open to all opinions, especially those of you who've got experience with the STT on the 04/05 F150...
I'm real tempted to get em, but want some background prior- theyre running about 275/tire up here the toyos for about 315-325

Thanks all- Justin

I've seen them, but I don't have any experience with them. They do look pretty good though.

I have a friend that had coopers on his Chevy and he swore by them. He also put a lot of highway miles on his truck, not a whole lot of offroad. But than again how can you trust a chevy guy.

I called a few vendors here in Tucson and all of them told me only selected sizes are available right now.....no 18s available.

That's strange. One of the sets I saw was a set of 35x12.50-18's on a new Super Duty at my brother-in-laws shop. It's probably a regional thing. If we can get them in south Georgia, it shouldn't be long before you can.

Very happy with the Coopers!

I Have the 35X12.50r18 cooper stt for 5000km very happy with them so far. i work at a cooper dealer and was able to get them when they first came out.
i believe now most of the new stt is backordered. fairly quiet on the road, awesome looks, and pretty good traction. I also think they are going to wear good.
