Stopped by a tire dealer today, inquired as to the cost of the Toyo Open Country AT's in 285/70/17. Sales guy said "can't get 'em?". He called a rep for Toyo, was told these have been on backorder since LAST NOVEMBER!!!

Anyone know what is going on with these guys?

 

Danged if I know. They need to step it up because there isn't a lot to choose from in that size.

 

They better make it snappy! I'll order the Nitto TG in a 295 if i have too...

 

I was told the same thing when I went looking for 285/70R17 Toyo Open Country AT's for my '02 Screw. My dealer said he could put my name on a wait list and I'd get a set once they were available. My name went on the list April 12th and I got my new Toyo's June 11th. I'd ask your dealer if you can get your name on the Toyo wait list........ if you can wait a couple months that is.
