I have Michelin LTXs and am very happy . I have run them for 21000 and they still have a lot of tread(Ihavenot measured the wear) .They hold the road like new. They are on a 98SC 4x2 4.6. I dont off road but I go a lot of places with crappy dirt roads(Job sites ,shooting clubs).They are great in the snow and rain. I would buy another set. I have had Goodyears, BFG and like the LTXS best.
