Maybe wandell the nazarean can answer this :o). I recently put on a 285inch tire on my spare then went to put it back on the truck . woont woont woooooonnn didnt fit. rubbed against the exhaust pipes. Question is it possible for this to even fit if i changed the exhaust pipes or is it impossible for me to even fit a 285-75-15 tire there. What do you think.

 

I've read several members here and at FTW post that you can fit a 35 inch spare in the stock location on 97-03 F-150's. Apparantly the problem is your custom exhaust system.
