how good are these tires? I dont have alot of money to spend and i'm just trying to get some input. The size i would be getting is 315/75-16

I've read a couple of magazine test on them. Basically they said they were not great in the mud, but performed well on the street and were quieter than most MT's.

 

i had a set of 32x1150's on my old truck and after 10,000mi. they were half gone. i replaced them shortly after so i dont know how long they would have lasted. they were pretty frienldy on the street but my nitto terra grapplers (all-terrain) do better in the mud. thats just my experience though.

 

well since these tires are not getting very good reviews, what are some other tires that are not to expensive that do good on the street, dont wear down to fast, and do decent in the mud?

 

Well, tires are one of those things that you seem to get what you pay for. It's better to spend the money on a set of BFG MT KM's or Goodyear MTR's and get 40-50,000 miles out of them than get some cheap tires that need replacing at 25,000 miles.

 

I had 305/70R16's on my SD and i got almost 50,000 miles on them.

 

I got those exact tires on my truck, (315/75-16) Dunlop.

With a 4in Body lift, Looks great, rides like it has square tires on it above 55 mph.
Seems ok in the mud but I dont off road much any more.

Tried everything to balance them out, right now I got Bead rings in the tires with the best results so far.

I suggest staying away from em. Worst $300 each I ever spent.

 

spend the extra money and get bfg muds or goodyear mtr's. I had the mtr's and i wouldnt second guess getting htem again. They perfromed great in all weather situations and were on and offroad. plus i got 40,000 and still had almost a quater tread left when i replaced them. i definetly could have gotten 50,000 out of them. are a bit pricey though, but they are worth it.

 

I have 35/12.5/15 mud rovers on my truck.So far they have been great. For the price you can't beat them.But make sure the tire
company torques your lugs.My right front wheel came off after
installation.
