just put a leveling kit on my 04 fx4 2.5 leveling kit from daystar. fixen to put knew tires an rims on but dont know what size to go with dont know if i want 17 9 or 17 8 rims. dont want a lot of stick out on my tires but dont know what size i need to get any suggestions would help.

 

I'd try to find an 8 to 9 inch wide wheel with at least 5 inches of backspacing. I'd go with a 33 inch tire. Either a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or 33x12.50-17.

hey man got one more ? will i be able to clear the 5" back space on the rimes with out it rubben when i turn the front wheels

 

I think 5 inches of backspacing would be fine. If you go with a wheel with less than 5 inches of backspacing, you may have problems with rubbing.
