My father in law has a 2000 f-150,4 whelel disc brakes.He`s looking for the park brake adjusters.I called the dealer,and they told me the whole backing plate has to be purchased.Does anyone know if this true?I have little faith in our local dealer.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Call your local auto shop. Normally you can buy the adjuster, spring and clips in a kit for under $20. I'm not sure on these truck though.
