I was wondering if I'll have any tire rub putting my new tires on 255\85\16 mud t/a's. I currently have 255/70/16 on my truck now(98 f-150 4x4) . I have been told I go as big as 285/75/16 these they are the same hight but the 285 are wider.

 

Wandell will probably some and answer this question bu ti personally have read the anwer to this atleast 50 times. You might be new here, i didn;t cheack, but try using the search feature. I am not trying to be an A$$ so dont get me wrong i am just trying to help you, and to help the forum with its posting. I am almost positive it wil fit, just try searching or wait for Wandell.

 

That's a 33" tire Not a problem for stock suspension. Are you sure you wnat to go skinnier and taller than the similar diameter 285/75R16?

 

Yeah, they will fit fine. It's just not a common size. Most people perfer a tall and wide tire.
