Maybe somebody has some input

hello all i have a 2000 f150 sport 4x4, and i am stuck, im thinking about buying a set of eagle 16x10, and want to put some a/t on them, i dont want to lift the truck, but dont mind adjusting the torsion bars, in your honest opinion what do you think would look best, a 285/75/16, or a 305/70/16 providing they will fit, i cant seem to find any pictures of a setup with the 305/70/16 and also is there any kind of backspacing i should be looking for on the wheels?

Thanks Brock

I'd go with 305's. Almost all aftermarket wheels for our trucks have 4 1/2 or 4 5/8 inches of backspacing. I believe all of Eagle Alloy's 16x10's have 4 1/2 inches of backspacing. I'm running 285's but the only reason is BFG didn't make a 305/70-16 in 2001.

I would go with the 305's as well. My brother in law had a 99 f150 with 305/70/17' on it with no lift and it looked great. I don't eve think he cranked the torsion bars either. He just traded it for a new f150.
