Mickey Thompson Baja Belteds

Anybody running these on a daily driver? Had 35's on a 95 f-150 back in the day that were awesome in ANY condition.

I had a set of 32x12.50-15 Mickey T Baja Belted tires on my last truck. Since they are not a radial, they tended to wander and ride rough on the highway. They were also loud and got louder as they wore. They also wear quickly. I wouldn't run them on a daily driver. You will be much better off with a radial tire. Even an aggressive mud terrian radial will be better on a daily driver.

Yeah, the Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX is an excellent tire, much better than the Baja Belted.

I had a set of the Baja Belted HPs on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and l liked the way they handled...They were pretty quiet on the highway and excellent in the snow. I am going to put a set on my F150 soon. I am going to go with the 33 x 12.50 - 17. I really love the aggressive look of that tire. If there is a better tire out there for me without putting a lift on my truck please...all info would be greatly appreciated!!

HP's

That's right... mine were HP's too, are they different than the others? I remember that mine were also quiet on the highway, handled well and were unbelievable in the snow. I'm gonna have to go hunting on the web to research the HP thing.

...I'll be back

weird...

There ARE 2 different kinds! Kinda weird though, in one section it states that the HP's are not for highway use. In three other sections it doesn't state this, and to me I would think that the HP's are better on the highway?

Any of you had problems with wobbling/shaking due to the tires? My 95 had it bad, around 35mph and 60mph! I guess 35" tires will do that to ya. Just wondering if it happened to anyone else.

Thanks!

PS. The MTX DOES look nice!
