Spare

I have the 235 as my spare but what is the biggest that will fit in that hole under the bed?

anyone know this answer? I am trying to decide on what size tires im gettin after the 3 inch body lift and i can't decide between 265s or the 285s bfg a/t. Just want it to look good but it would also be nice to know i have a way to get home if i get a flat.

I 265 will go under there as it is factory size on 4x4 f150's equipped with 17" rims. If you're only going as big as a 285, the 265 should be all the spare you need.

If you have ABS, make sure that the outside diameter of the spare matches that of the other tires. Otherwise, you could get an ABS light, and more importantly, your ABS may not function properly when the spare is on there.

well if i put 285s on the 2wd truck with the 3 inch lift am i goin to be able to put a 285 under the bed? If i could could i just buy some cheap tire and not worry about the tread matching bfg a/t that i plan to get

I have a 255/80/16 (33") as a spare. It fits just fine and is the same dia. as a 285/75/16.
