Will these fit??

I'm replacing the stock 16 X 7 wheels on my truck with a set of aluminum 16 X 9 wheels. The tires on my stock wheels are Firestone Wilderness 235 70 R 16, with plenty of tread left on them. Will my new wheels work with these tires?

well.... 235/25.4 will give you the width of your tire. Which is 9.25". It seems as though you would be fine, but I am by no means an expert. So.... let a few moew people post and see what they have to say.

Those tires are too narrow for a 9 inch wide wheel. Check the tire manufactures website and see what they recommend to make sure.

235 is the width of the footprint in millimeters and 70 is ratio of the sidewall compared to the footprint.so the sidewall is %70 of 235mm
