I just ordered some 20s for my 01. I saw an article in Motor Trend on a project truck that Paxton had that had 305/50's on it. I haven't settled on my tire size yet but I've narrowed it down to 295/50's or 305/20's.

If you are going to use 305's, make sure your rim is at least 9" wide. Ive heard alot of people having rubbing problems with the width of the 305 on a 20 by 8.5" rim.

when i had my 2001 f150 i had 305/60r20 on my stock suspension and i had a slight rubbing problem when i made hard turns left or right. just depends on if you want to give up your steering radius for aesthetics on your truck. to me it was definately worth it, you just have to remember about the turning thing.

305/60r20

Does anyone know who makes a 305/60r20 tire? All I can find are 305/55r20 and 305/50r20. A 325/60r20 will not fit my '05 excursion.

I have Bridgestone Dueler 275/55/R20's and love them. Fills out the fender well great.

bjh,

These are EXACTLY the tires that I'm about to put on mine (well, different wheels, but the same tire). Did you notice a change in your gas mileage or if your odo/speedo were off?
